The Stable is a delightful, stone-built, barn conversion positioned just 3 miles from the famous, historic town of Whitby on the Yorkshire Coast. The cottage has been renovated and finished off to a very high standard with tasteful décor and furnishings throughout.
The open plan living area gives it a spacious, welcoming feel. There is a ground floor bedroom that would suit anyone with limited mobility. The enclosed garden complete with furniture is ideal for relaxing and re-charging your batteries or for the children to enjoy playing in.
The Stable provides excellent accommodation for couples or families looking to explore the resorts along this beautiful coastline or the pretty villages dotted within the North York Moors National park areas. Whitby has plenty to offer everyone and is full of character and charm. There is a large selection of pubs, quaint antique and gift shops, the famous fish and chip shops and 3 miles of golden sandy beach. There are many events in Whitby all year round including, music festivals, a regatta, folk dancing and many more.
A great way to get around and explore the famous sights of Whitby is by taking the local tour bus that will take you to the stunning Abbey and St. Mary’s Church positioned on the Cliff top where you can enjoy spectacular views over Whitby and out to sea. You can take a memorable trip on the North York Moors steam train that will take you from Grosmont to the lovely market town of Pickering stopping off at Goathland, otherwise known as ‘Heartbeat Country’.
The lovely coastal resorts of Sandsend, Staithes, Runswick Bay and Robin Hoods Bay are all within close proximity and are well worth a visit.
